Enhancing Online Learning Through Interactive Videos: An Action Research Plan

This action research study examines the impact of interactive videos on student engagement and learning outcomes in online courses. Using a mixed-methods approach over 12 weeks, the study will implement Adobe Captivate to create interactive videos with embedded questions and knowledge checks. Data collection combines quantitative metrics like engagement statistics and performance scores with qualitative insights from student and faculty interviews and reflections. The findings will provide evidence-based guidance for implementing interactive videos in online education and contribute to best practices in digital learning.
