My vision is to foster a culture of continuous innovation within our organization. I see opportunities not as isolated events, but as stepping stones toward transformation. Here’s how I envision our path:

  1. Agile Adaptation:

    • We’ll stay agile, anticipating shifts in technology, industry trends, and user needs.

    • By adapting swiftly, we can seize emerging opportunities and remain competitive.

  2. Collaborative Exploration:

    • Innovation thrives in collaboration.

    • I envision cross-functional teams brainstorming, experimenting, and co-creating.

    • Together, we’ll explore uncharted territories, embracing diverse perspectives.

  3. User-Centric Design:

    • Our innovations must resonate with users.

    • I propose empathetic design thinking, deeply understanding their pain points.

    • By putting users at the center, we’ll create solutions that truly matter.

  4. Data-Driven Insights:

    • Data will guide our decisions.

    • We’ll analyze metrics, user feedback, and market trends.

    • These insights will validate hypotheses and refine our innovations.

  5. Incremental Revolution:

    • Transformation need not be disruptive.

    • I advocate for gradual changes that accumulate over time.

    • Small wins pave the way for significant shifts.

  6. Leadership Alignment:

    • Our leaders play a pivotal role.

    • I’ll collaborate with them, aligning our vision with organizational goals.

    • Together, we’ll champion innovation as a strategic imperative.

  7. Ecosystem Engagement:

    • Innovations thrive in ecosystems.

    • Let’s forge partnerships with startups, academia, and industry disruptors.

    • External collaborations infuse fresh ideas and accelerate progress.

  8. Learning Organization:

    • We’ll cultivate a learning mindset.

    • Regular training, knowledge-sharing, and curiosity will fuel our growth.

    • Learning from both successes and failures will be our compass.

  9. Celebrating Wins:

    • Each innovation is a milestone.

    • Let’s celebrate creativity, resilience, and breakthroughs.

    • Positive reinforcement fuels our collective drive.

  10. Legacy of Impact:

    • Our transformation journey will leave a lasting legacy.

    • I envision an organization known for its adaptability, relevance, and positive change.

    • Together, we’ll shape the future, one innovation at a time.

In essence, my vision is to create an innovation ecosystem where curiosity thrives, collaboration flourishes, and our organization evolves purposefully.

Interactive Video Creation with Adobe Captivate

Where does the Overview/Introduction/Start Here module fit into the overall course map or design?

The Overview/Introduction/Start Here module is positioned at the beginning of the course, immediately after the Homepage. It serves as the entry point for students, providing essential information about course navigation, resources, and initial activities like the welcome discussion and pre-course survey.

How is your instructional design approach realized in the modules?

The instructional design approach appears to be based on a combination of constructivist and experiential learning theories. Each module follows a consistent structure that includes:

  • Clear learning objectives

  • A mix of theoretical content (readings) and practical activities (workshops, demonstrations)

  • Opportunities for application (project work)

  • Reflection and self-assessment

  • Peer collaboration and feedback This approach allows for scaffolded learning, moving from foundational knowledge to application and integration.

Where are you sharing the main course goal and outcomes with your learners?

The main course goal and outcomes are likely shared in multiple places:

  • The Welcome Message on the Homepage

  • The course syllabus (which is linked in the course navigation)

  • The "Start Here" module

  • Each weekly module's "Overview, Objectives, and To Do" section

How does the unit/module align outcomes/goals activities and assessment?

Each module aligns outcomes, activities, and assessments by:

  • Stating clear objectives at the beginning of each module

  • Providing activities (readings, videos, workshops) that directly support these objectives

  • Including "Check for Understanding" self-assessments with questions that require participants to engage with the material at a deeper level

  • A "Going Deeper" section for participants who want to explore advanced topics or delve into the theoretical underpinnings of interactive video creation

  • Culminating in an assessment (like the interactive video project) that demonstrates achievement of the objectives

Is this student-centered or teacher-led?

The course appears to be primarily student-centered, with elements of teacher guidance. It emphasizes hands-on activities, personal learning plans, peer collaboration, and self-directed exploration ("Going Deeper" sections). The instructor plays a facilitative role rather than a purely didactic one.

What is the scope or range of the instructor's role (i.e. Presenter, Facilitator, Coach, Mentor)?

The instructor's role spans multiple functions:

  • Presenter: In expert demonstrations and workshops

  • Facilitator: In guiding discussions and peer review sessions

  • Coach: In providing feedback on projects and personal learning plans

  • Mentor: In offering ongoing support and guidance throughout the course

Is the course blended or fully online?

The course is blended with online meetings, activities, and in-person workshops.

How are you introducing the course and yourself and how are you building the learning community?

The course and instructor are introduced through:

  • The Welcome Message in Announcements

  • The Welcome Message in "Start Here" module

The learning community is built through:

  • The Welcome and Introductions Discussion

  • Ongoing peer review and feedback sessions

  • Collaborative projects

  • Discussion forums

What is the ratio or percentage of synchronous to asynchronous collaboration?

The course leans heavily towards asynchronous collaboration, with some synchronous elements like the hands-on workshops. The estimate percentage is 80% asynchronous to 20% synchronous.

How will you address the infrastructure, system, and support needs and issues the learner may face?

These issues are addressed through:

  • A technical requirements section in the syllabus or "Start Here" module

  • Links to Adobe Captivate system requirements and installation guides

  • Information about accessing technical support to Canvas LMS

  • Guidelines for participating in online workshops and discussions

  • A FAQ section addressing common technical issues
