(Development and Implementation)

As my journey progressed through EDLD 5313 and 5303, my understanding and capabilities blossomed fully. The development of my ePortfolio served as both a reflection tool and a showcase of growth. I learned to integrate Fink's 3 Column Table with the Understanding by Design Template, creating comprehensive frameworks for significant learning environments.

In EDLD 5389, I developed the Alternative Professional Learning Strategy Plan, a 15-week implementation schedule followed by 6 months of ongoing support. This comprehensive plan demonstrated my ability to create sustainable professional development programs that moved beyond traditional "sit and get" models to active "go and show" approaches.

During this period of full bloom, my collaboration with peers became more sophisticated and purposeful. Working with Rose Rayner, Samara Marin, Maria Montemayor, and others, I developed a deeper understanding of instructional design principles and their practical applications. Like the intricate relationships between flowering plants in a garden, our collaborative efforts enriched each other's growth. We provided constructive feedback, shared resources, and supported one another through challenges, creating a vibrant learning community that enhanced everyone's development.

My innovation plan also flourished during this time, as I implemented interactive video elements using Adobe Captivate. The usability testing phase, though challenging, provided valuable insights that helped refine my approach. I learned to balance technical capabilities with pedagogical needs, ensuring that each interactive element served a clear educational purpose. Through this process, I discovered that creating effective learning environments requires both careful planning and the flexibility to adapt based on user feedback and changing needs, much like a gardener who must respond to both the planned design of their garden and the actual growing conditions they encounter.
