Hello everyone!
I’m thrilled to share the latest enhancements I’ve made to my ePortfolio since its inception in the previous course. It’s been a journey of growth and learning, and I’m excited to walk you through the new features:
About Me Page: I’ve added a personal touch with an “About Me” page. This space is dedicated to sharing my academic interests, career aspirations, and a glimpse into my life outside of school. It’s a great way for visitors to get to know me better.
Class Landing Pages: Each class now has its own landing page, providing a snapshot of the coursework and projects I’ve undertaken. These pages serve as a gateway to the detailed work and reflect the skills and knowledge I’ve gained in each subject. Landing Pages: EDLD 5302, EDLD 5305, EDLD 5313
Header Navigation Bar: Create a consistent header navigation bar that appears on every page. Include links to essential sections such as “Home,” “About Me,” and “Blog.” Use clear labels for each link to guide visitors.
Home/Next/Previous Buttons: My ePortfolio is organized in a linear fashion (e.g., chronological order), add “Next,” “Previous,” and “Home” buttons at the end of each page. There is a back button on the top of each page. These buttons allow users to move forward or backward through my content seamlessly. Example
Additional Blog Posts: My blog section is bustling with new posts! From reflections on recent lectures to insights gained from group projects, these posts are a testament to my ongoing learning process and engagement with course material. Recently added posts: Learning Revolution, New Culture of Learning, Creating a Culture of Helpfulness and Growth Mindset
Coursework Corrections: I believe in continuous improvement, which is why I’ve revisited my past coursework to make necessary corrections and updates. This not only ensures accuracy but also demonstrates my commitment to presenting the best version of my academic efforts. Corrected assignments: Learning Manifesto, Implementation Outline
Work in Progress/Future Changes: Breadcrumb Trail at the top of each page. This shows users their current location within the ePortfolio and allows them to navigate backward easily. For example: Home > About Me > Courses > [Specific Course] Add a Search Bar in Header/Footer so users can enter keywords or phrases related to the content they’re looking for.
Stay tuned for more updates as I continue to refine my ePortfolio. Your feedback is always welcome!
